昨晚4點許,被印度鄰居極大聲的音樂吵醒。報警。警約4點半來勸之。

唉!切下人頭 = 回教恐怖份子的手段
[The Associated PressPublished: December 18, 2007]
BANGKOK, Thailand: Suspected Islamic militants fatally shot four people Tuesday then beheaded one of them, a Muslim village chief, in Thailand's insurgency-wracked south, police said.
At least 10 insurgents opened fire on the chief's vehicle, killing him and three security guards, as they drove through Bannang Sata district in Yala province, said police Lt. Sompien Eksomya.
"The village chief was beheaded and his severed head was found near the crime scene and the rest of the bodies," Sompien said.
More than 2,600 people have been killed in Thailand's Muslim-majority southernmost provinces of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat, and in some parts of neighboring Songkhla, since a long-simmering Islamic separatist insurgency flared in January 2004.
The Southeast Asian nation's population is about 90 percent Buddhist and many southern Muslims feel they are treated as second-class citizens.

人體極限
updated:2007-12-19 16:28:51 MYT

Auto production in Thailand to jump to 2.1 million units in 2011
From: MCOT English News
BANGKOK, Dec 1 (TNA) - A five-year master plan in Thailand's Automotive Industry Development, beginning in 2007, is designed to make Thailand an automotive production and distribution hub for Asia, according to a senior Thai official.
Thailand Automotive Institute president of Vallop Tiasiri said the draft master plan is now awaiting consideration of Kosit Panpiemras, deputy prime minister and industry minister.
Under the plan, Thailand's auto production will be increased from this year's 1.6 million units to 2.1 million units in 2011, said Mr. Vallop.
Thailand will also manufacture and export one-ton pickup trucks to oversea along with eco-cars.
Car manufacturers are also expected to invest several hundreds billions of baht on automotive spare parts production, and are believed to boost personnel efficiency and technology.
The continued appreciation of Thailand's baht currency against the US dollar has impacted local competitiveness and, according to Mr. Vallop, this country needs to further develop and boost production efficiency.
Plans to encourage auto spare parts manufacturers to invest overseas, including Vietnam, Indonesia and India, are being considered seriously as they could be used as Thai spare parts hubs and to boost competitiveness, he added. (TNA)-E111

Thousands protest against Malaysia copying Indonesian dance
JAKARTA (Antara): Around 2,000 people dressed in colorful traditional costumes staged a rally Thursday outside the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta, protesting Malaysia's alleged use of an Indonesian traditional dance in its tourism promotions.
Protesters performed the dance and brought banners which said "Plagiarism" and "Malaysia copied reog ponorogo", causing a traffic jam along JL. Rasuna Said where the embassy is located.
"We want the Malaysian government to stop copying our cultural heritage," a member of Jakarta's reog association, Tritomo, said.
The dispute began when a traditional masked dance called barongan, similar to reog ponorogo, appeared in Malaysia's massive tourism campaign.
Last month many Indonesians were upset with Malaysia when a folk song, claimed to be of Indonesian origin, was used in Malaysia's tourism campaign. (**)
